This Wagner Ware Roaster is in excellent condition. The inside scalloped lid design of the No 9 roaster is what makes this piece so special. It is simply beautiful. The #9 Roaster is the largest roaster that Wagner made during this era of the 1920s. This one is a real find because of its condition is just about as good as it gets. It has been stripped clean of rust, scrubbed, lightly oiled using food grade materials and ready for the kitchen.
Condition:
Amazing. Just look at the pictures. Some obvious discoloration which will even itself out in time with plenty of use. There is a wobble to it which you can see for yourself in the VIDEO ABOVE. As you can see, the wobble is minor and obviously these things are to be expected on a roaster this old. This type of imperfection only becomes an issue if you are planning to use it on a glass top, flat stove but I wouldn't recommend using ANY cast iron on a glass electric stove because cast iron can scratch the glass.
The inside of the roaster is smooth and clean. No cracks.
The lid is just spectacular. The inside of the lid reads "1269 A" and "PATENTED DEC..4-17. FEB..10-20. MCH.. 8-26. MCH.. 14-22."

How do you handle refunds for items received damaged?
All of our domestic shipments are insured. Just send us photos of the damaged item(s) and packaging within 3 days of receipt and we will issue an immediate refund, including original shipping charges. International Buyers will need to seek refunds from the shipping carrier; Bleak House 302 will be happy to provide you with purchase receipts, if needed.
What if I'm unhappy with the item once received?

We do not want unhappy customers! :( You may return any undamaged item within 7 days of receipt for a full credit of the sale price.
