DetailsThis #7 has been cleaned, oiled using food grade oil and restored back to a fully functioning Griswold skillet. We are offering this item at a heavily discounted price due to the pitting which has rendered the logo nearly unrecognizable.
Real quick for those whom don’t know what “pitting” is; pitting is an imperfection on the underside of a skillet. They look like a bunch of little divots or “pits” in the cast iron. A very common occurrence, pitting is usually the result of cooking with the skillet on charcoal. Camping trips and beach cookouts some 50 years ago are the most likely culprit.
While pitting is cosmetic and has no effect on the functionality of the skillet, it just doesn’t look great. We rely on our in-house restoration expert for all our vintage cast iron. Pitting is the one thing that cannot be restored. No way of getting around it.

How do you handle refunds for items received damaged?
All of our domestic shipments are insured. Just send us photos of the damaged item(s) and packaging within 3 days of receipt and we will issue an immediate refund, including original shipping charges. International Buyers will need to seek refunds from the shipping carrier; Bleak House 302 will be happy to provide you with purchase receipts, if needed.
What if I'm unhappy with the item once received?
We strive to do our best to accurately represent every item by photos and written description. We do not want unhappy customers! :( You may return any undamaged item within 7 days of receipt for a full credit of the sale price. Returned item shipping charges between Bleak House 302 and you and you and Bleak House 302 are not refundable.
