The official book summary reads as follows:
"This book gives the account of Sammy Tubbs, the hero of the tale. Sammy Tubbs was a child of slave parents, who moved North after President Lincoln issued his proclamation of freedom. At an early age, he became a door-boy at the house of a physician, bearing the name of Dr. Samuel Hubbs. The boy was bright and inquisitive, and the Doctor was kind and communicative, so that in a little time Sammy was practically a pupil of his generous employer, who availed himself of every opportunity to impart physiological knowledge to the inquiring lad. Mrs. Millstone, the wife of a sea-captain, took a fancy to Sammy, and made him a present of a remarkably smart monkey."

How do you handle refunds for items received damaged?
All of our domestic shipments are insured. Just send us photos of the damaged item(s) and packaging within 3 days of receipt and we will issue an immediate refund, including original shipping charges. International Buyers will need to seek refunds from the shipping carrier; Bleak House 302 will be happy to provide you with purchase receipts, if needed.
What if I'm unhappy with the item once received?
We strive to do our best to accurately represent every item by photos and written description. We do not want unhappy customers! :( You may return any undamaged item within 7 days of receipt for a full credit of the sale price. Returned item shipping charges between Bleak House 302 and you and you and Bleak House 302 are not refundable.
