DetailsAs you can see in the photos, this old lantern has been retired awhile. The carriage is bent-up and just has too many signs of age to make this into a usable lantern again. It is however, in this condition, a highly sought after home decor item.
Red Bulb: These lanterns are hard to find with their original clear glass. They are even harder to find with original red glass. Luckily the glass on this lantern is in fantastic condition to boot.
It’s easy to see why these are such great finds for the home. They are warm and inviting. They look great year round whether hanging from the ceiling or placed up on a shelf. Original made in USA Dietz lanterns have a rustic charm that only they can provide. They make a room look instantly more cozy and old fashioned. This lantern is one of those lanterns.
The bulb measures 5 inches tall with a 4 inch diameter and lettering on the glass reads “Loc-Nob REGD in USA.”
The lantern weighs 2.6 pounds, stands 13.5 inches tall and 18 inches including the handle.
Overall a quite majestic railroad lantern that has not been restored. In original condition with all the scars to prove it. The perfect find for collectors and home decorators alike.

How do you handle refunds for items received damaged?
All of our domestic shipments are insured. Just send us photos of the damaged item(s) and packaging within 3 days of receipt and we will issue an immediate refund, including original shipping charges. International Buyers will need to seek refunds from the shipping carrier; Bleak House 302 will be happy to provide you with purchase receipts, if needed.
What if I'm unhappy with the item once received?
We strive to do our best to accurately represent every item by photos and written description. We do not want unhappy customers! :( You may return any undamaged item within 7 days of receipt for a full credit of the sale price. Returned item shipping charges between Bleak House 302 and you and you and Bleak House 302 are not refundable.
